Objectives
› Learn the principles behind Graphic Design for User Interfaces through Branding, Typography, Layout, Composition, Colour, Images, Micrographics and Animation.
› Learn principles behind balancing aesthetics with usability when creating interface graphics.
› A majority of screen estate today is dedicated to Information Graphics; a few examples are - Cricket Scorecards, Stock Tickers, Financial Reports, Process Diagrams, Maps, Chronological Narrations, etc.. Learn how to convert raw data into useful, usable and
aesthetic graphics with help of Information Design Principles.
Who Should Attend
Interaction Designers, Information Architects, Web Designers, Project / Product Managers, Software Developers, Software Architects, Graphic Designers, Product Designers, and any other professionals responsible for user interface graphics.
Prerequisites
Primer course (like Module UXD01 Introduction to UXD) or equivalent basic training in UXD is recommended but not compulsory.
